Republicans argue that Democrats control Hollywood. If so, why don’t the Democrats exercise their ownership equity and develop devastating ads taking down tbe Republican Plan to Repeal Medicare. Actually, I’d be pleased as punch to see the Democrats just do anything… on anything… anytime.

Great idea! - Massachusetts did similar with RomneyCare / Obamacare it is working just fine. Saw my Doctor last week and he is really concerned about what the GOP are throwing out there.

I hope you all realize that we have ALREADY LOST the messaging battle on this. They have grabbed the initiative on who is scaring who and reversed it completely and the MSM has adopted it. The REAL false narrative demagoguery is that it is going bankrupt and that the ACA is killing it but that will now NEEVER be corrected.

I like this – offer it in a way that lets red states experiment if approved by their state lawmakers. Then let the red states suffer (and turn blue) when seniors and middle-age voters revolt en masse.

I’m not sure. Bring back Harry and Louise? Blanket FOX News with the ads morning, noon and night? Hold separate Democrat Congressional hearings after the Republicans refuse to allow adverse witnesses at the “official” hearings. Get CSPAN and then other coverage will follow after we browbeat the networks. Appoint a Democrat Comgressuinal Committe of truth tellers who will dog every Republican leadership Capitol Hill press conference, and then hold their own at the same spot immediately after the Republicans do theirs. Introduce our own Medicare and Obamacare strengthening bills. Hold hearings around the country. But. Do. Something!
I love Nancy Pelosi and Chick Schumer (OK, I respect Chuck-- don’t love him) but they are always operating inside the box. So polite and tradition friendly. No! War needs to be declared and we need warriors (Hollywood and otherwise) to fight it.

How about NOT ending Mcare in Blue Texas. You know, all the major cities that didn’t vote for the Dumpster would be left out of the ‘experiment’, and all the rural areas would be subjected to it.
