Discussion: Kentucky State House Speaker Resigns Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

IOW: ā€œJust 'cause I got my ā€œlittle gunā€ out is no reason to turn it against me, y’all.ā€

I hope his constituents demand his resignation as their state rep. If he refuses, vote him out.

Who ā€œsettlesā€ for consensual sexual texts? Someone who recognizes that in the text exchanges there is an indication that the texts were not consensual - or someone who is married and has engaged in sexual texts that indicate it was more than just texts and doesn’t want that to come out. Either way - SleezeBall be gone from the speakership!

Let’s see…it’s been ā€˜unbelievably tough’ on him and it’s probably politically motivated and it was REALLY sexual so…amazing what lengths people can go to, to justify their transgressions.

One look at his photo and it’s clear that sexual harassment was the only path open to him.

What a sick pig, just like the rest of these ego-driven swine…

Raise your hands: Whose wife would allow you to remain at the scene of the crime? Anyone?

How do you determine whether a text was consensual? Staffers aren’t exactly in a position to mute their bosses.

Ugh, another middle-aged unf*ckable slob who wants to pretend he’s the object or desired object of any thinking person’s attention.

ā€œAt no time did I engage in unwelcome or unwanted conduct of any kind,ā€ he said.

Uh huh. What’s your wife think about that exactly, you porcine waste of skin?

The Courier-Journal reported last week that Hoover reached a confidential settlement with a female staffer who accused Hoover of sexual harassment. The allegation also involved Hoover’s chief of staff and three other state representatives, according to the Courier-Journal.

Well at least it wasn’t the college interns, like it was in the Missouri state house two years ago.

ā€œTo say that the past few weeks and days have been trying and difficult for me and my family would be an understatement,ā€ he said at a press conference. ā€œI ask for your forgiveness.ā€

I didn’t see an acknowledgement of how trying and difficult it is for his victim, or a request for her forgiveness…but, why would I expect such a thing. It’s all about the inconvenience to him.

[/quote]My phone sent a text message to her phone, which her phone accepted and displayed in the messages. Totally consensual on the part of her phone.

For the life of me, I don’t see how this subject will end. For many this is a way off life. Possibly 40% of the male population and 15% of the female population? Certainly Trump has shown he is by far the leader of this subject.

Me and my family have been going through hell this past week… with malice towards none…with charity towards all, I give up my speaker position…can’t say anything else because the settlement precludes that…a clause my lawyer put in the agreement…but I really wish I could tell you how innocent it really was…

gotta love these bible thumping crypto confederate types

Indeed!

I’ve noticed this too. Wiener, Weinstein, Topack, this guy – they are all fug ugly. I think most of these hideous looking guys were turned on by revenge. They hated beautiful women for rejecting them and enjoyed hurting and humiliating these women once they had power over them.

Weinstein and Topack should be behind bars. For life.
