I wouldn’t be shocked if they did. A bit surprised–maybe–but not shocked.

And who allowed the teen to a gun? Will that person be charged?

Thank God there weren’t any “good” kids with guns to also start blazing away in a crowd. There could easily be twice as many dead and wounded.

No on effing noticed that this kid had any problems. Oh, and of course in addition to the easy access to guns, the governor is making sure fewer people have access to mental health care.

Is the sweet, precious gun okay? Has anyone made sure that it’s being treated well, and is not being subjected to any harsh treatment or criticism?

But, yes, by all means, let’s try the kid as an adult, while God forbid anyone should even think about taking action against those responsible for letting the kid get a gun in the first place.

Stop that crazy talk. Responsibility is for persons of color and immigrants only. It’s right there in the Constipation next to the gun-sex parts.

So they strap this 15-year-old down and inject the poison and listen to his heart until it stops, and tell themselves “That’ll give the next one a little something to think about” and feel like they’ve done something about this. Because the red states aren’t going to address any gun-control issue for a very long time. The more powerless the people who make them red become, the less they’re going countenance any restriction for anyone on the one thing that make them feel powerful. If you’re affluent, you can buy a German car, or a sailboat, or a big house. You can get a college education and get paid six figures. You can be prominent in the community, or float a political campaign. You have lots of ways to feel good about yourself, and feel powerful and strong. Folks in a doublewide can’t afford any of that. But if you’ve got a thousand dollars worth of credit you can get an AR-15; if you’ve got four or five hundred you can get a Glock. And if you need to feel a little more powerful, you just pick up that machine and heft it and think about what it could do if people keep pushing you. Trust me on this: I’m from Pennsyltucky and not long ago I was talking politics with a Democratic farmer from the rural western part of the state. The Republicans where he is are numerous and committed because for them it’s all about the guns. Nobody’s taking those guns away. You can tell them a hundred times an hour you don’t want to take them away. They won’t hear you.
