The direction Kelly is taking the deportations is very unsettling. From the latest information it appears that there will be mass incarcerations and deportations. Kelly declared that threats to the nation come from the southern border - more fantasy than reality. Whatever honor Mr. Kelly had as a general he has abandoned to serve this White House of tyranny. He lives in another world of unreality in order to accomplish whatever self-imposed mandate he seems to have to rid the nation of illegals. There will be no mercy and it will be horrific. For those of us who care, we will be helpless. A report on NPR suggested that Trump’s order will include holding camps along the border for those to be deported. We edge closer to abdicating our humanity as a nation. It is disgusting. When there are no workers to pick the vegetables and fruit that most Americans take for granted, Mexico will export to us - with vastly increased prices. The great swath of America that voted for Trump will be in shock when they must return to the days of canned vegetables and fruit as the price of anything fresh will sky rocket. It will be well deserved but unfortunately, we will all have to pay the price for the stupidity and ignorance and hatred of this time in our history.
Kelly said this next time he will be able to “make sure that there’s no one caught in the system of moving from overseas to our airports.”
