Discussion: Kelly To Vet Every News Article And Policy Paper Flying Across Trump's Desk

The President himself has even taken up a new tone toward his chief of staff, reportedly telling advisers to check with “The General” before rubber stamping new proposals, sources told Bloomberg.

That’s a far cry from Trump’s “Don’t tell Reince” posture under his former chief of staff, Reince Priebus, an anonymous White House aide said.

Yes, I’ve been here for 6 years now. I haven’t read any news since that big die-off in ----2015?
There are pink flamingos here, by the way. This is also the place where apples and tulips and Attila the Hun originated.

Chances are that with the aforementioned person Omega level telepathy, Trump likely wouldn’t remember that he invited him

Bitch, please! How fucking stupid is Kelly, anyway? Donald Trump doesn’t give a flying fuck about policy advice. He gets everything he wants to do from watching FoxNews, listening to Alex Jones, reading Breitbart, and going on Twitter.
This is the “genius general” the media gushes over? If he was in charge of the European Theater during WWII, we’d all be speaking German.

Seriously? And who will be monitoring his activities in the wee small hours of the morning when he loves to watch TV and tweet. Are we talking straight jacket and padded cell here?

The move is designed to present Trump with competing views on policy from different departments before he draws conclusions, Politico reported,

Coming soon, who can outdo McMaster with the lech pics.

that Republicans in Congress do have more confidence in the White House and Trump’s ability to understand their concerns with Kelly in charge.

Kelly’s “Reader’s Digest” Policy Statements for Trump (in their entirety):

More Troops in Afghanistan to Increase Miniskirts. (7 words).

Threaten Congress With Shutdown to Pay For Wall. (8 words).

No Trans in Military (4 words).

Raise Debt Ceiling Only With Payback to Look Good (9 words).

Enough for this week.

Guess this will be known as the “Regency Period” if it works.

If Kelly was smart he would tell Trump ,“nothing new today”, and he should tell him that everyday.

very, very cool. I recall reading about the apple trees in their native habitat in the mountain forests growing in groves around 60 feet tall, pretty magical sounding . I´d love to see that corner of the world.

Kelly, along with White House staff secretary Rob Porter, now gets the final say on what news articles and policy memos cross Trump’s desk, according to a memo obtained by Politico that the two men circulated to Cabinet members this week.

Oooooh, one of my good friends (and a lovely colleague) is now in Kazakhstan. She was born there (pre-USSR breakup) and because of the family’s connection to Germany back a generation or two, they were able to come here under a sort of “re-patriation” agreement with Soviet satellites.

Grandma still lives there and my friend is there with her fiancé (also a colleague) for his first trip to meet the fam and see some of the sights. I am awaiting photos when they get back week after next…

ETA: response was actually intended for @centralasiaexpat…
