Idle musing: whoever is leaking this to try to knife Kelly either fundamentally misunderstands Trump or fundamentally misunderstands the public.
Possible assumption one is that Trump would be put off by this informationāobviously not true. This is red meat to Trumpās dominance-based understanding of the world. Possible assumption two is that the public will be so horrified by this information (a la Rob Porter) that we will be calling our Senators etc demanding his resignation, suggesting a fundamental inability to understand the difference between public perception spousal abuse and public perception of two hated middle-aged dudes in a slightly pathetic dick-measuring contest. (This misconception too, I think, is part of a dominance worldviewābeating up on someone weaker is beating up on someone weaker, regardless of gender.)
