Discussion: Kasich: Trump Will Struggle To Win Ohio Since He Is 'Dividing'

And I love my party, but I love my country.

Then vote for Hillary.

Trump is dividing the Ohio Republican party. The Tea People Kasich put in county party offices will work for Trump, while every other Republican operative Kasich tried to edge out will work for Portman’s reelect.

Good times, good times.

“I’ve had a lot of people pound on me about you need to do this, you need to do this, this is about the party,” he told CNN. “And I love my party, but I love my country. And I have to be true to myself. I wish that I could be fully enthusiastic. I can’t be.”

Every public utterance of this variety is helpful.
Please, proceed Governor.

Kasich also confirmed that one of his aides said that Donald Trump Jr. called
to inquire about Kasich’s interest in being vice president.

“I was never interested in being anybody’s vice president bitch,” the governor told CNN.

Kasich continued, “I’ve seen how he treats Pence and Christie.”

Kasich: Trump Will Struggle To Win Ohio Since He Is ‘Dividing’
And maybe, just maybe you fuckers will wise up and pick another sort of radical right wing ideologue next time .
Did I mention Kasich 2020?

Moral: if your party has already won on divide and conquer, it’s hard to divide further and win again.

Kasich is the one of all the Republican candidates for whom I could have voted. He is retaining his integrity and refusing to sell it to the Trump idiocy. Good for him!

Kaisch Translation: Expect no help from me or other Republicans, especially those who wish you and the Palin People to perdition.

I’m not going to campaign for Hillary. But I don’t find her personally untrustworthy nor her emails or Benghazi to really be a problem. They were all made up controversies when we thought Jeb would be the candidate and I would be his VP.

Remember Romney’s mock outrage over President Obama’s handling of the Middle East in the debates that didn’t have a leg to stand on? You, Donald Trump, are just another Romney. Go ahead and “proceed” by all means.

You are going down in flames. I hope to sort through the ashes to form a “more perfect” union of conservatives by 2020 because of your BS. You’ve made me look like a Democratic Lite voice of sanity instead of a calculating Machiavellian.

Oh, and thank you for castrating that hypocritical Christian Wrong Lyin’ Ted Cruz for me.

No, Trump will either alienate the next few generations of voters from the GOP or he will become a fascist Communist dictator that leads this nation into isolation and a downward death spiral both economically and as a world leader in invention and innovation.

The republicans that aren’t complete racist, morons and trump fans also know the reality that the US does better with a democratic president and so will vote for Hillary.

The actual interview piece was a bit more revealing. First…Kasich refused to even take the call, it was handled by one of his staffers. Second, he confirmed that the staffer told him that Jr. offered him all the domestic and foreign policy to run.

If Trump were a Dem…they would be leading with how desperate he was, literally begging his opponents and offering up for all essential purposes, the entire presidency, just to get anyone to agree to be his VP.

So Kasich is basically saying “Even I wasn’t able to ruin Ohio thoroughly enough to make voters so desperate a majority of them would go for Trump.”

Technically, that’s a state responsibility. And actually, it’s the Republican Party that’s more obsessed with taking down teacher’s unions than with making schools succeed.

You know, party first.

He’s a total bitch for the Bushies. Never saw a better performance in my entire life of a thoroughly Far Right politician who is entirely insincere in both motivation and practice.

Kaisch is thrilled to be considered the Republican seen as the most responsible from drumming out the Far Right lunatic fringe and Dixiecrats from his his party. And he’s most proud that he’s also fooling people like you into thinking conservatism is still a viable alternative in the same way that Reagan did.

Why can’t you be happy that Democrats have returned to their progressive roots? Why praise a conservative stalwart who has no integrity except in comparison to a rich slob like Trump? He’s just as much of a fraud.

“He’s going to win parts of Ohio where people are really hurting and where people of both parties have failed to fix our education system,” Kasich said on CNN’s "State of the Union.

He doesn’t appear to be aware that he’s part of the problem not the solution. You know, that whole Governor thing.

Damn. I don’t agree with any policy he promotes but he is so SINCERE! The GOP really screwed the pooch this time didn’t they?

At this point given Kasich’s career and age, why doesn’t he just freaking say, “I’m voting for Hillary Clinton because she’s smart, capable, and not insane”? His approval ratings would skyrocket. He’s already been reelected in Ohio as governor, and is looking forward to Easy Street as a big bucks lobbyist or consultant, why does he need ANY of these people over his self respect? He doesn’t!

Trump is dividing people, adding to Clinton’s margin of victory, subtracting from Republican representation in Congress, and multiplying the GOP’s problems with minorities. A Democratic inflection point is nigh.
