That description could accurately fit pretty much anyone seriously running for President during anytime in American history.
Let’s focus less on how Clinton (or any politician) is trying to ‘position’ themselves and more on what their actual policies would look like.
Or is that too difficult for people to handle?

Well, finding the middle ground in foreign policy is probably not the worst approach. But, it sure seems like the Rs are running a contest for the most condescending use of vocabulary as it relates to female politicians. (see E. Erickson, R. Limbo, K. Rove, etc)

Hated what she said in that interview, but calling her “Goldilocks” is misogynistic code. Has there been an instance when Rove or other GOP operative has conjured the image of a callow little girl to criticize nuance in the opinions of a male politician?

Weak and lame. The writing is on the wall and Republicans know they won’t have a President again for generations, if at all. The GOP is a regional rump party living out the last of their “glory days”.

Why is anyone still taking Karl Rove seriously?
For that matter, after his famous meltdown in the Fox News studio on election night in 2012, why does Fox News still take him seriously?
Once upon a time, when a Joseph McCarthy finally lost all credibility, CBS, NBC and ABC would simply stop quoting that person.
Maybe the headlines these days should read: “Fox News quotes Karl Rove despite his low credibility. No surprise. In other news,….”
