There is no end in sight, to the harm caused by allowing people to have free access to powerful weapons. Rather than self-protection or defense against tyranny, as the NRA claims, they serve to carry out the petty revenge of angry, ineffective and unstable people. The real scandal, isn’t that he killed an innocent man out if hatred, but that he had the means to do so.

Maybe i’m just a hermit and don’t realize it, but i live not too far from Olathe, and folk like Purinton, i absolutely never see them with my own two eyes. I’m sure they exist right in front of me, but never have i witnessed the kind of behavior that he exhibited. Not even close. Clearly, Purinton was/is mentally deficient. His behavior was, in no small part, caused by right wing media, like Fox News. And Breitbart.
Edit: It will be interesting if the State pursues the death penalty against this guy. He’s clearly guilty. It was a hate crime. His crime is punishable by death. Does the Deep Red State kill one of its own?
