definitely not racially-motivated

That, sir, is a LIE.

If we have to weed them out one by one, we will.

Geez, people are so touchy you can’t even be a overt racist in Kansas anymore. Sad.

If you think having gaps in your teeth means you part of a master race, you are definately not part of any master race.

These people are probably shocked to discover that they are not as lucky as their leader (Trump) and cannot get away with saying and doing the things he does.

Yes, light-hearted jokes about Nazis are always welcomed, Mr. Klemp(erer).

Note that only the tiniest swastika appears on Klink’s uniform (below the eagle on his hat). Not enough of a WWII buff to know how accurate that is. Or was it CBS being thoughtful?

More concerned about the gaps in his brain…

Facts not in evidence.

Presumes he has a brain.

I agree. It’s just one big gap…

“I regret my recent comment made during a Leavenworth County Commission
Meeting and for the negative backlash to the community.”

In the future I’ll keep my racists beliefs to myself and my friends.

OK, I’ll bite (get it?). In what universe, under what interpretation, generous as may be imagined, does having a gap in one’s tooth have anything to do with being a member of a race, master or any other?

Remember, this is merely what he’s saying in a public forum on the public dime.
In other words, he’s on his best behavior.

The French think it’s good luck, evidently because it got you out of serving in Napoleon’s army since you were unable to bite open the cartridge before loading your musket. Supposedly some men actually pulled out their front teeth to avoid military service :scream:

I think that he meant to refer to “thigh gap.”

Watching the video, Klemp actually points to the gap in his own teeth while he’s making the “joke”. His intention was clearly to temper his criticism of the city planner, Penelton, by implying they SHARED some superior attribute revealed by the tooth gap they both shared. In this case, there is no indication he was being deliberately racist.

Too bad Nazi references aren’t funny to most decent people.

He said that as he was resigning .
