âThe revelation, however, turned out to be somewhat anti-climatic.â
Please leave the climate denials to the bad guys.
Iâm not sure it was even anti-climactic. His hand-in-the-cookie-jar response to the first 15 versions of the question pretty much proved heâs hiding something.
Whatâs that saying about âSuccessful lawyers never ask questions they donât already know the answer toâ?
One day later: âThe answer is no,â Kavanaugh said, likely lying through his teeth. But Kamala knows.
I wonder if she wanted to get a no from him before releasing the info she has âŚ. though time is running out. Does she get another opportunity to question him before this ends?
âThe subject of the question is you and whether you were part of a conversation regarding special counsel Robert Muellerâs investigation,â Harris said.
âThe answer is no,â Kavanaugh said.
And now itâs on record.
From which it will haunt your broken dreams and shattered reputation until the day you die.
Like a careless night of drunken revelry that forever ruined a once-promising life.
Crush him.
She has twitter.
Also:
Then spill the tea, Kamala. Dump it, nice and hot, right on the front of his pants.
Put another way:
âIf you are confirmed after this truncated and concealed process, there will always be a taint, there will always be an asterisk after your name: âAppointed by a president named as an unindicted co-conspirator, after the vast majority of documents relating to the most instructive period of his life were concealed.ââ
â Sen. Richard Blumenthal
Some people need a claim to fame, I guess, whatever the cost.
So Kasowitz denies this conversation took place. Isnât he the one with alcohol issues?
Itâs possible that she was just trying to get under his skin and psych him out. Itâs his reactions that are revealing.
But thatâs only if âDeer meets Headlightsâ reactions are considered revealing.
Perhaps she doesnât have any real proof except maybe someone told her that he saw Kavanaugh go into Kazowitzâ building or something. From what I understand the DC law circuit is very tight and everybody knows everybody else. Mr. K. surely knows Kazowitzâ top attorneys. She may have been fishing for a reaction as opposed to outright nailing him. And she was rewarded. He didnât pass the âTuring test.â
From your keyboard to G-dâs ears.
Maybe sheâll release her info at 3am.
I hope to hell Senator Harris has something concrete with which she can back this up, because if she doesnât, then even if I believe her it was stupid, terrible politics.
I so hope you are right.
I loved her for this too:
Why? She never committed herself to anything except that she had it on good account. She just wanted to hear Mr. Kâs side of it.
If she knew, she should have nailed him. Or she should have been prepared to bring her source to the committee room and get the source to testify under oath.
Do some states have laws against onanism?
