sean hannity said he was available. he isn’t exactly a “legally qualified journalist” but he is definitely a “fully certified nutjob”.
And this guy is white!!
CBS news on line is calling this a “victory” for Scott, but I don’t think it is. It ensures that all the votes will be counted.
You get a lot of data from the linked-to AP article. Allegra’s piece was something of a sum-up.
Coming!: another invasion of the board of election by a kavanaugh clone led “Republican mob”…
I’m confused. If the FDLE isn’t investigating bc the haven’t received a formal request, who is going to be doing this checking?
Why didn’t that judge did not apply those same standards to the Republican counties for the ballots they rejected?
If it was a “neutral” ruling, why did not the judge order it for all counties?
Rick Scott and fraud go back a long way.
If there was any justice in the world, he’d be in jail for Medicare fraud, not a two term Governor locked in a close race for a Senate seat.
Fuckin’ Florida…!
Meanwhile, Sinema’s lead in Arizona is now up to 21,000+
McSally should be done. The remaining BIG counties are going to swing Dem!
I watched Tweety, because he had an election official who was clear and concise about what was going to happen in FL. He said that of course Scott is fighting this because he’s ahead. But all the votes will be counted, and then we’ll have the result. It was great.
So the unconvicted fraud Sick Rott now wants to stop the vote count in Florida, shades of 2000. And showing how he wants to help get things done he immediately blames liberals and Democrats even though republicons control virtually the entire state apparatus. Fuck off asshole.
Dont forget that address can tell them what they need too.
Fox News bough it though.
I was a poll watcher for the Democratic Party in Hillsborough County, Tampa, FL. The process here is that a provisional ballot is not entered into the scanner but is placed into an envelope on which the voter fills out their name and contact information. (Note that when a ballot is placed into the scanner is not return to the voter but is deposited into a locked collection box. That box is not opened until after the poll is closed that night. Also, each ballot that each Precinct clerk receives must be accounted for as either unused, voted as a regular ballot, voted as a provisional ballot or was a spoiled ballot, i e, a ballot on which a voter made a mistake and was then issued a new ballot.) That envelope is then placed inside a zippered folder. At the end of the night, each zippered folder from each Precinct is delivered to the SHE’s facility along with the voting, scanning and other equipment along with the regular ballots that were voted that day and all unused, provisional and spoiled ballots.
Accordingly, there is no list of provisional ballots created on Election Day. That list would have to be physically created from a review of the provisional ballots contained in each zipper folder that are recieved from each Precinct.
In my opinion, the procedures and training that have been put in place by the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections office are very effective and trustworthy. On the other hand, it is my understanding that the same cannot be said for the Broward County Supervisor of Elections.
Actually, the Gillum, Nelson and other Democratic campaigns were using that information to contact voters who voted a provisional ballot so that the voter could bring in the information, for example, a valid picture ID, needed to comply with Florida law so that the provisional ballots would be counted as regular ballots.
Because one suit was filed in the Circuit Court comprised of Broward County and the other suit was filed in the Circuit Court comprised of Palm Beach County. The trial judge only has jurisdiction in the circuit in which they sit.
Why would the supervisors have opposed this?
