Trump’s personal attorney faces troubles in Chicago, where several taxis he owns have been grounded
The Deputy AG: NY AG and FBI wouldn’t have pulled the trigger on such a high visibility/high risk move unless they had Cohen dead to rights.
Like the saying goes- the only rule in dethroning a king is ‘do not miss’.
Seems unlikely that the prosecutors would have pulled the trigger on Cohen if they weren’t absolutely certain the case could withstand desperate plays like this.

The judge is Kimba Wood, I read somewhere. Very smart, with a colorful past. I would put the chances of her being pro-Trump at about 0%. On the other hand, she’s a pro, and won’t let a plainly excessive warrant stand.
All these motions sound expensive. I’m cautiously optimistic that the feds followed the book to the letter and there is no grounds here. I definitely want the feds to examine those files.
Mueller’s charges will be like an onion, layer after layer, the deeper it goes the more layers stack up.
Only one layer is necessary to come up with a conviction, a half-dozen layers assures the legal-industry deceivers won’t be able to stop it.
Trump’s got more dirt than Iowa and Mueller’s got a mighty big backhoe.
They probably just want to get a better idea of what the feds are really looking for and how much they already know. If I were them I’d want to know sooner rather than later, and this is a relatively cheap way to find out.
What a busy news week-
• Under the direction of the Deputy Attorney General FBI Agents seized electronic and hard copy evidence from Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen.
• Cohen subsequently pleads the fifth in federal court.
• Former FBI Director James Comey confirms British Intelligence Steele Dossier on Trump very likely accurate.
• Trump discussed directing the FBI to recover the 2013 video recording of him with prostitutes in Moscow.
• Trump is revealed to have likely fathered an illegitimate child with an employee, Marcela Bardeau; which another employee was paid $30,000.00 to conceal.
I wonder what will happen next week?
Yeah, I’m sure Judge Wood is going to totally buy into the idea of issuing a TRO to keep DoJ from using information gathered pursuant to a duly issued search warrant that went through the DoJ’s stringent pre-application guidelines for seizing attorney-client communications.
Based solely on the opinions of hers I’ve read (and I always noted the name because of the Clinton AG appointment nannygate fiasco), she has a mind like a razor and she’s going to use it to very politely cut them to pieces.
All these total nothingburgers being shoved down my gullet have me feeling like Cool Hand Luke with the eggs.
Hell, I wonder what’s going to happen by the end of today!
