In some of the places in Iowa, there hogwash in the water, hogfart in the air, its hogs for dinner and Rocky mountain oysters count as seafood. Look at how Steve King, Chuck Grassley Jodi Ernst and Michele Bachman turned out. They elect their own. Tom Harkin was the last sane one from there.

“Iowa pig farmers will continue to properly care for their animals and provide safe and secure working conditions for their employees. And, they will fight those who try to destroy or attack their livelihoods one case at a time,”

Well, if you aren’t doing anything wrong you don’t have anything to worry about, right?

Hallelujah for this ruling.

The abusive treatment of animals, particularly in concentrated animal feed lots, is THE crime of our times. Human abuse of animals shows no sign of ending. Rather it has been industrialized, in ways that are reminiscent of Nazi entrepreneurial violence. So many human beings are utterly and profoundly disgusting creatures, which most others find easy to ignore. Humanity on the whole is pretty bloody awful.
