Sing along, Roger…

Did you spare a few moments to watch Cohen today, Rog? Because the fact that your arrest was televised is not your biggest problem right now.

Keep striking out Stone. Try for the record.

I was hoping for “Judge Smacks Roger Stone,” but this will do nicely.

“The theory has taken root in conservative media over the past month, with former hot tub salesman and onetime acting attorney general Matthew Whitaker…”

That’s not fair. He also sold toilets marketed to men with large penises.

I still don’t understand what it would’ve proven had someone from Mueller’s office or the FBI leaked the arrest? It wouldn’t at all change the basis for which the warrant was obtained. It wouldn’t have changed the facts of the case and it wouldn’t have in anyway absolved Stone.

The purpose of the Sealing Order is to keep Roger Stone and his attorneys from arranging for him to abscond or avoid arrest before he can be apprehended. That’s the only purpose of the order.

And again, if it happened that the Indictment got unsealed one minute before he was actually arrested, what prejudice did he suffer?

Stone and his attorneys are trying to turn this into a circus, like the group of clown defense lawyers during the “Howard Beach” Murder of Michael Griffith Trial back in the late 80s in NY Supreme Court…

###Whitaker tried to give Stone an assist.
###For a moment there it seemed like a bold move.
###But then things just didn’t quite work out.

That’s not fair. He also repped a company that ran a patent scam targeting veterans.

If I had my way, “conspiracy” would not be followed by “theory” when the proponents are just stuffing bullshit, cherry picking, illogic, lies, misinterpretations, nonsense, pre-industrial science, and a sprinkling of not-quite-connected facts together into a mold shaped to produce a pre-determined outcome.

Call it a conspiracy concoction.

It would have proved beyond doubt that Stone, Trump, and really the entire GOP are the hapless and innocent victims of a massive conspiracy, a conspiracy that puts Watergate to shame. And that…uh…honestly I’m not sure what comes after that, but it’s bad. Really bad.

Stone is really making an enemy of Jackson. Jackson will stay cool, but when he is found guilty, expect the sentence to be at the upper end of the guidelines. Roger is going to die in jail, just like Pauli…

What he actually did was all that and much, much worse.
