Discussion: Judge Rules Against Donald Sterling, Approves Sale Of LA Clippers

Discussion for article #225651

“Donald Sterling claimed his wife deceived him about the medical exams.”

Donnie, Donnie, Donnie. It’s the lawyer who’s deceiving you. He just wants your money honey. You are the only one who doesn’t get it. No one will coach for you. No one will play for you. How are you going to get empty uniforms out on the court to play a game of basketball? Better still, when no league games are scheduled against a team named Clippers, how are you going to sell tickets for the game? Does any of this ring a bell for you Donnie?

Take your share of the sale of the team and go find a nice island somewhere to retire to.

I wonder whether the Sterling wife is right or whether she is getting even.

No reason she can’t be both. Sterling screwed around on her for years, and used her to help antagonize some of the tenants on his rental properties. Sterling’s a Grade A jackass and he deserves every inch of this, Alzheimer’s or no.

I hope he ties up the NBA for years, and I don’t even care if he loses. How can the NBA force him to sell a business investment that has increased many times over since he has owned it, and has been very profitable? If they want to ban him from taking an active, public part in the operation of the league, then fine, he can continue to hold the team in a blind trust.

Now we see displayed the underbelly of the ruling class and folks, it aint pretty, is it?
