Discussion: Judge Rejects DOJ's Effort To Block Two California Sanctuary Laws

So.Much.Not.Winning.Today.

Judge named “Mendez”. DOJ will call him an activist because of that.

Oops. Named to bench by George W. Bush. Too bad, so sad, whatchagonna do, Spanky?

This Californio does love to see the Keebler Elf smacked down. The AG who wasn’t named here is Xavier Becerra. Arriba!

“The right of states to determine how to provide public safety and general welfare to their people continues to stand strong,” the California attorney general’s office said in a statement after the ruling.

But he said California could not enforce a third law that prohibits employers from allowing immigration officials on their premises unless the officials have a warrant.

So the jack-booted thuggery and campaign of terror can continue unabated.

Mierda. Delirium ruled for a moment. Nevertheless immigrants are more welcome here that in most states. They can get healthcare and drivers’ licenses and their neighbors protect them. I also predict someday we’ll see Becerra on the national stage aiming for something yet to be determined.

Liberal Leftist Geroge VV Bush DEMOCRAT!. Sad.
Should be run out of Repbulican Partei. Barbie Bush a Bad Mom!

Made Another Gauche Assholery

I think that forbidding employers from letting someone on their property might be a bridge too far. But I could see a carefully crafted law that sanctions employers who knowingly employ undocumented workers and then call ICE when they get uppity.

Trumps DOJ…so little " winning"…

But wait - if an employer happens to be a corporation, and a corporation is like a person, and thus has the constitutional right to free speech according to Citizens United, then wouldn’t/shouldn’t that employer corporation also have constitutional rights under the 4th Amendment protecting it from unreasonable (warrantless) searches?!? Is there a juris doctor in the house?!?

Becerra is righteous and has been fighting the good fight from day one. Arriba, indeed. ¡Adelante!

Remember his name. He’s one of those who’ll be the future of the party (along with some others from CA whose names we hear again and again).
