Discussion: Judge Holds Kobach In Contempt Of Court

HAhahahahahaha, kick rocks Kobach! You’ve had it coming for ages and man-oh-man, this is satisfying.

It feels so nice to belly laugh again! :joy: Felt almost like the pre-“Sad!” era for a sec.

You were reading my mind – I was going to say that there may not be many, but they all seem to be working for Donald Trump.

C’mon over, we’ll finish it off and give it the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval…or not…

Yeah me too cause I doubt he goes to jail - it’s probably going to be a fine. Hope it’s a big one

And then we get the sticks out.

Yeah, he’s a Republican

This tired shit of spouting platitudes about trying to protect the sanctity of the vote while illegally dumping legit voters from the rolls as fast as they can just never grows old for these guys.

I read the order. It only requires him to pay the attorneys’ fees of the other side. No time in the pokey.

Second thing: don’t screw with court staff, either.

OT, but reminds me of a story…

A few years ago, we had a big storm forecast to hit western Oregon. We were advised to prepare for Snowmageddon. So, on the comment pages of the Oregonian, someone wrote about his storm prep, all the food he had bought, and included the conversation he had with his dog that, if they ran out of food during this storm, the dog might have to be their dinner.

Well, disappointingly, the very weak storm came and went. The guy got back online and said he had all this food left over, tons of it, so he was going to have a big party and invite everyone over to eat it. The first response back to this was “So, do we get to eat the dog?”

Bad, I know. :smiling_imp:

He is contemptible, so it’s a reasonable proposition.

Conservative christians like Kansas’ Kris Kobach should be above the law and not held accountable for their actions. Because they answer to jesus on Sundays, the laws in the real world do not and should not apply to them.

A goddess named Tammie Jo Shults landed the crippled Southwest airlines plane which had a mid air explosion on a flight from NY to Dallas; a woman was half sucked out a window, people crying and screaming, but still Captain Shults persisted.

In the cockpit, Captain Shults remained calm as she steadied the aircraft, Flight 1380. “Southwest 1380 has an engine fire,” Captain Shults radioed to air traffic controllers, not a hint of alarm in her voice. “Descending.”

So where did Kobach attend law school?

He does not appear to be a very bright person to me. This is not the first time his point of view was out of sync with reality. He always appear to be working in the racist la la world and that’s why I see him as a constant failure…because he just, is!

She earned that cool as a fighter pilot I believe. She was awesome.

Nor to me. He’s thick as a brick. There aren’t any really bright GOP left.

Yes, she was, and she looked good doing it…

She learned to fly as one of the first female fighter pilots in the Navy three decades ago, piloting the F/A-18 Hornet in an era when women were barred from combat missions.
