Trump and his appointees are all blissfully unaware that they can’t rule by fiat. They all seem to think that all they have to do is issue a proclamation, and hey, presto, decades of policy are instantly undone.

The pity is that it will often take years to unwind the nonsense they’ve perpetrated.

U.S. District Judge Jesse Furman in Manhattan said that Ross “failed to consider several important aspects of the problem; alternately ignored, cherry-picked, or badly misconstrued the evidence in the record before him; acted irrationally both in light of that evidence and his own stated decisional criteria; and failed to justify significant departures from past policies and practices — a veritable smorgasbord of classic, clear-cut APA violations.”

That very well could have described the actions and opinions of an “unidentified Senior White House Official” who does not want 800,000 federal employees to return to their jobs.

Nice, let’s hope Roberts provides the swing vote if this goes to SCOTUS

This is why they decided that any political cost of the Kavanaugh debacle was worth it.

With the unpopularity of their positions and untenable trajectory as a party Republican survival drones on Citizens United, the Citizenship question on the Census and a carefully contrived decision on gerrymandering cases.

Wait’ll Mitch rams through ideological hacks for the 100 or so open bench positions…

After all that is the plan, prepare scorched earth while the RW wanders in the wilderness for the next couple of election cycles…

Good. You go, co-equal branch of the government!

Just look at “trickle down economics” that nonsense persists going on what 40 years?

Trump: “Sure, but the Executive branch is the co-equal-ist of all 5 branches of the government and soon that judge will have no salary because the Democrat shutdown that I’m proud to own will run your puny branch… heh… out of money. And also my branch is the hugest branch, belive me, so we will still use money.”

If Spanky can stay out of the slammer come 2021 he would be perfect as the new host for the reality TV show The Biggest Loser.

Yeah, in spite of failing all 40 years.

But, hey, there are a lot of people who believe in Bigfoot too, which has been just as easy to find as positive economic effects of trickledown.

Depends on which end if the trickle you are on…

Maybe. For now. The main caveat being the courts below the USSC, it’s lost to the American People.

On top of that, Secretary Ross acted without observing procedures required by law

Hey Judge, everyone those items you list are features, they definitely are not issues you should involve yourself with. Move along now.

Trickle down works, why it trickled down on me when I sat reading on my patio one day.

Only took the landlord replacing the carpets twice as well as ripping up and replacing all the floor decking within the apartment above me to get smell, stains, etc out.
