Nothing displays this man’s sense of entitlement, and likely that of his peer group, than this request. “Those other defendants aren’t important people like me.” It’s bad enough that they really expect special treatment when convicted of criminal acts but they actually think others, judges for example, will agree with them.

This is petty of me, but I’m really glad to see Manafort, the fucking tyrant-polisher, being humiliated in all the petty ways an asshole like him cares about.

And isn’t there something just so damn pitiful about that? I think I can envision quite a few more in that picture. Those are just the front men. The rot goes much, much deeper. We have to follow the money and get to the power behind them or this isn’t going to be over.
