Discussion: JPMorgan CEO Isn't Sure If Elizabeth Warren 'Understands' Banking

Discussion for article #237349

Jamie, if Americans really understood banking, a lot of your class would be in jail. So I guess I’m gonna side with Elizabeth Warren on this one.

I think Elizabeth Warren understands banking just fine. What she doesn’t understand, or at least doesn’t condone, is unrestrained greed.

Wow. Patronizing AND Misogynistic in the same sentence!
Then again, this IS Jamie Dimon.
No man deserves to be in jail more, while having not a chance in hell of it happening.

Actually, I think I’d put him a long way behind Dick Cheney and the rest of the unrepentant war criminals of his administration on that list. Not that he doesn’t deserve to be in jail, mind you, but there are others with prior claims to that distinction.

Mr. Dimon has tried to belittle and/or threaten those who disagree with him before. Rather than being a grownup and saying, “we disagree a lot,” he resorts to mansplaining or bullying. LEADERSHIP!!1!!1!

Aww, he wants to do a little mansplaining to Sen. Warren. They call some of these finance guys “big swinging dicks” but this clown is just a big dick.

Yes, Jamie. Keep talking like that, you clueless fucking moron. Make yourself and the rest of the despicable Wall Street traitors the hated poster children of the 2016 election.

“Let me 'splain. It’s simple, really. We make money hand over fist, and you look the other way.”

He walks into the Capitol building, unzips his pants and the senators and congressmen drop to their knees, except for Warren, who obviously doesn’t understand banking.

The problem is that she understands banking too well and is calling you on your bulls#@T!

Yeah, or else she understands banking all too well…

Seriously, screwing people over and occasionally crashing the global economy is a feature, not a bug! Come on, Warren.

Wasn’t it the people who ’ understand the global banking system ’ who were responsible for the subprime mortgage crisis?

Money laundering, insider trading, currency manipulation, market manipulation, stock manipulation, betting against your clients, and misleading press releases concerning stocks and markets. What’s not to understand? As long as the Justice Dept occasionally receives a smidgen of the action in the form of a token fine, the game goes on.

Dimon is an insufferable prick. If we had the sense to break his behemoth up into twenty or thirty pieces, he’d totally be fit to run one of them. Which, of course, makes him believe he’s fit to run a company no one can run. A thing he admits for fifteen or minutes after each new scandal by an underling that escaped his attention breaks.

The stench of Mr. Dimon’s fear could knock a buzzard off a shitwagon. The Welfare King lashes out!

The only problem is, HRC is in deep with these characters – Dimon, Blankfein, and all the rest. So it won’t be an issue after Sanders is out of the picture.

Senator Warren is so clueless. She thinks it’s possible to do banking without being a crook.

The man whose negligence (ahem, at least that’s his defense) in supervising his employees cost his company more than $10 billion and helped cause economic losses in the US alone of $2 trillion and counting says someone else doesn’t understand banking. This reminds me of the days when I worked at a science magazine and we kept getting letters from people telling us that Einstein didn’t really understand physics.
