The GOP ?
Iāll stay with the 15th. He taps out by then.
I think itās the GrOPe.
It sounds like the head coach was doing everything he could to protect his athletes. You canāt tell me Jordan didnāt know anything about the problems they were having. He heard locker room talk and I canāt imagine the head coach didnāt talk about the problems with his assistant.
Jordanās denials ring hollow. They almost come across as the comments of some one who was involved himself.
But Jordan always seemed like such a nice guy.
The longer Jordan holds out the more details are going to come out.
And it sure does not look like thatās going to be pretty.
āā¦some rush to Jordanās defense while others express anger and disbelief that he would feign ignorance to protect his own skin.ā
In other words, Jordan hasnāt changed a bit since his 20ās.
I hope youāre right, @squirreltown - he should go, and soon, but I bet he hangs in there with the belief that no one will or could touch him. And, given his colleagues and the head of his party, he may just be right.
Somehow I donāt think Melania Trumpās comment about āItās just boy stuffā is going to hold up here.
He was probably charging admission to the mesomorph chasers.
Why make the distinction between locker room talk and formal reports of assault, if neither happened? It just shows heās trying to hide behind slippery semantics while lying about what he knew.
Letās not get caught up in the BS. Jim Jordon was charged with the welfare of young men at a University. Period. āLocker room talkā? Fine. INVESTIGATE that there is no āthere, thereā. You fking coward. You are blaming the kids. What kind of a monster are you?
As assistant coach he was an official of the university. If he heard locker room talk of sexual abuse he had a duty to report it up the chain and to take steps to protect his student athletes.
My friends, I give you the honorable James Daniel Jordan, the new Speaker of the House and face of the Republican Party and ask you if this is not simply perfectāa judgmental, self-righteous, accusatory prick who has an appalling skeleton in his own closet that heās simply lying about to save his miserable skin. Perfect. Simply perfect.
It was a crime not to report what he knew, so he seems to be trying to suggest that ālocker room talkā doesnāt carry that requirement. (The term itself connotes talk that is dubious.) It seems clear heās told his lawyer that he heard such talk and it can be proven.
Lterally true here, but no less damningā¦
The Grand Inquistior of Emails deserves everything he getsā¦HRC is smiling somewhereā¦
I wish Karma would have reacted this swiftly to Mitch McConnell, might have saved us a lot trouble.
Asking for a friend, how can one party have so many scandals going on in such a short period of time?
Yuck!
Jordan, youāre the creep Iāve always thought you were!
Six former Ohio State University wrestlers have now come forward to deny Rep. Jim Jordanās (R-OH) assertions that he did not know about the team doctorās habitual sexual abuse while he was assistant coach.
Jordanās response was, ātRump sez thereās a difference between locker room talk and every other form of communication.ā
The media is so focused on what the wrestlers are saying, they are missing the fact that OSU has stated that Jordan has been contacted in the universities investigation. Jordan denies that too, but itās easier to take on the wrestlers than the university.
This guy is in deep, and the new details of men watching the wrestlers shower and the head coach dragging people out of the building is pretty damning to OSU AND Jordan.
If he thought the 11 hour grilling they gave Clinton was badā¦
