Discussion for article #229672
The last thing I want to do is answer a bunch of questions. From REPORTERS!!!
Sheâs done. So there you, youâŚreporter, you.
Itâs Charlie PieRce, actually - can you please correct?
Oh, looks like just your lede has the typo. Anyway.
I love to think of Pierceâs great big guffaw at some of the outright crazy things she saysâŚ
I do like the idea of caring the remnant of that forward: âItâs Charlie, Pierce, actually.â
As in: if the msm were predominantly populated with the likes of Charlie Pierce, actually this country would be in way better shape.
Agreed. Sanctimonious morons like her truly deserve to be heartily laughed out of townâŚ
Oh Iowa, are you really this dumb to elect her to the Senate of the United States of America?
Love the headline in The Guardian today: âFormer pig castrator Joni Ernst poised to win Iowa Senate seat for Republicansâ
I hope sheâs back to castrating hogs in a week.
What does she know? Sheâs not a scientist.
How I wish Iâd had a big mouthful of coffee when I read that⌠An opportunity missed.
GOTV Iowa Dems!
Iowa, please do not send this horrible person to the U.S. Senate.
Why is this woman even relevant? Her gun commentary is more whack than Todd Aiken.
âI donât know that [Obama] does [care about Americans], he hasnât demonstrated that,â Ernst said.
Thereâs something deeply wrong with this woman. She complains that Pierceâs facts are opinion but then offers her own opinion as fact. After the Des Moines Register endorsed her for the Republican nomination, calling her âsmart and well-prepared,â she blew off a scheduled meeting with the Registerâs editorial board, claiming the newspaper had treated her with unfair negativity. She has a pure-blood victimâs complex that colors her entire persona. And even more distressing is the fact that people choose to vote for her. Voluntarily. Without a gun to their head. Itâs mind-boggling.
And as any Fox viewer knows⌠a âfactâ that is created by a conservativeâs wishful thinking trumps a âfactâ that springs from objective science. After all⌠they have to be able to bend reality or their world just doesnât make sense.
Iâm from the state that inflicted Mitch McConnell on the nation, I moved to the state that gave it Jesse Helms, and I live in Virginia Foxxâs district. And even bearing that burden, I cannot but say: WTF, Iowa?
If she wants to discuss an apathetic President facing a public health crisis, perhaps she should address the fact that 21,000 Americans died before St. Ronnie of Raygun ever uttered the word âAIDS.â
