IS iT seXisT TO saY I wOULD taP MOst of THAT???
âŚaccused the left of characterizing Fox Newsâ female personalities as âdumb blonde chicksâ and assessing them on their hotness and looks.
I donât assess them on their âhotnessâ (I think they are the Wonder Bread⢠of âhotnessâ, i.e. not). I âassess themâ as being dumb because they are dumb on the air, spewing ignorance, lies and vapid bullshit⌠and because most of them are blonde.
LIbtARDS tURned OFF the COMMEnts TO SILEnce THE Voices OF TRUE AmericaN patRIOTs1!1!!!one!!1!1!!!
Well, ya got me there.
(wry grin)
Clearly, OâReilly must go platinum or ash.
And many of the male talking heads on Faux are overweight, pasty-faced bloviators who vie with the many blondes to spew stupid and/or vile lies.
Was that sexist of me?
Not all blondes are dumb, but those that are work for Fox News.
Jonathan Chait: Itâs Not Sexist To Point Out So Many Fox News Women Are Blond
Nor that fox media moguls and their minions are bald.
If my eyes rolled any more they might fall out of my head. Nothing is more sexist than what Faux does: hiring only text-book beautiful blondes (natural or not) precisely because they know what will grab and hold the attention of their drooling misogynist couch-boner target market. They use these women for exactly that purpose by parading them around as the oh-so-pretty barbie-vessels that provide said couch-bonerâs daily affirmations, parroting the ideological Galtian screeds, nonsensical Teatroll talking points and tinfoil hatted RWNJ conspiracy vomit in which couch-boner brains need to bathe on a daily basis to maintain their creamy smooth, but empty, cortical structures. Heck, just the fact that these women sell themselves out to spew rabid idiocy replete with sexist ideology is more sexist than this guy pointing it out.
BesidesâŚIâm more of an Ygritt kinda guyâŚthey can keep their Daenerys daydreamsâŚ
Well, I see the Fox outrage brigade is gearing up for their next world tour: âBlonde Ambition, The Schlock Doctrineâ
âKelly wasnât sneering or looking frightened, though she is blonde and is on Fox which to the illiberal left means sheâs a nameless âblond anchorâ and candidate for being objectified and dehumanized,â
I wonder if she could keep a straight face when writing that.
First off, Kelly is not nameless. Nearly everybody I now, right or left, knows who Megan Kelly is. Nor is she what I would call dumb, either. (Soulless perhaps, but thatâs getting off on to another topic).
But seriously, a candidate for being objectified and dehumanized? Fox News are masters of both of those things. The examples are literally too many to even start to list. From how they are required to dress (you will never see a pants suit, or even a long dress. Only dresses that show lots of leg), to their make up (Make up is also requiredâŚmany guests have voiced frustration with how Fox insists on doing their make up), to even the âliveâ moment of Kelly striding back to talk to the numbers people about Roveâs meltdown over calling OhioâŚgo back and look. The entire camera angle is taken from below to show up her legs, and presumably, give their poor viewers something to distract them from the fact that yes, Romney was going to lose the election. Its all about objectification, and always has been.
Prayers are being said at Fox News that there is not a peroxide embargo.
Nope, not sexist, just truth haha
The comments started coming back up a few stories ago.
Re: This StoryâŚno, it isnât sexist because it comments on a sexist FOX News policy weâve known about for two decades now.
This has been happening on & off for days lately. Does anyone else know what gives? It only seems to be when a story is ânew.â At first, I thought it was my computer programming, etc.
I agree, I can imagine a Faux News makeover where all the blondes are replaced with Scottish gingers armed with long-bows, battle axes, and wearing brass bustiers.

Hey, whatever floats Roger Ailesâ boat. Poor Shep must feel like the odd bird out.
Isnât she supposedly a Democrat? Oh wait, a Fox Democrat. Never mind.
