Discussion for article #239491
Vomit.
Sounds like fun! This event is also set to feature Stephen Amell, star of ‘Arrow.’
So next Stewart will follow Trump’s lead with WWE and next run for president?
What’s next? Comedian Apprentice?
I wish guys like John Stewart would just write books, teach at a college, and do special shows a few times a year.
The expectation would be that Stewart will interfere in the Rollins/Cena match in a way that gives Cena the victory and the Belt(s).
But I’m betting on a double-cross, with Stewart causing Cena to lose.
Well, the only thing more staged than pro-wrestling is politics. Seems natural enough.
I would never have imagined him doing such a thing but probably because I find the whole WWE very stupid
ugh… i have never… and will never… understand wwe or wrestling in general.
Me neither
It’s possible his kids dig it, and he’s sharing that interest with his kids. Part of being a good daddy. Likely one of the reasons he stopped doing a regular gig, to be more with the family. I’m sure he’ll also do some news type specials here and there too. Good for him, he’s earned it.
This is sad and pathetic.
Doubtful, where did that come from?
Doubtful, he does not want a steady TV gig right now, he wants to spend more time with family. I seriously doubt this will eat into his time too much, in fact his kids probably dig it, could be a good thing to share with them
What exactly does that mean?
Same here. I haven’t watched since the 70’s when it was on Saturday nights at midnight. Then Saturday Night Live came to fore which was far more relevant and humorous. WWE became big in the 80’s apparently it thrives in more conservative eras.
Actually, he’s said this on multiple occasions on his show.
Soap operas for men.
I enjoy it. It is what it is. Entertainment, pure and simple. You have characters trying to make you laugh, and heros you want to support, and villains you want to root against.
Not all that complicated really.
Besides, the performers are really putting their bodies on the line and exposing them to injury risks that athletes in sports would never dream about.
So he left the Daily Show to go entertain and make money for the Fright-Wing fucktards backing GOP candidates.
he’s also a fan.
i was hoping not to see Vince or Linda’s name in that article. Seeing how both are backing (via donation) Christie…
Yes, not sure why people are trashing him here. I have no desire to even watch WWE, but nothing wrong with people doing it.
Wrestling is a legitimate sport.
Never really been my cup of tea, but it is a legitimate sport.
This nonsense that the WWE calls wrestling is nothing more than entertainment for the mentally challenged.
There’s really no reason at all why he should give it even a moments thought, but I really thought Jon was better than that.
