Some might call Stewart’s take satire, but it is the reality of where we are in the gun debate. Mostly it is the reality of broadcast news from local, to cable and all the way to network news.
Apathy on mass shootings…poor Jon Stewart…he has an apathy on mass stabbings. His limited Liberal empathy does not care for mass stabbings victims. Then again he is a clown so…

Seems like a good group and in it for the long haul but I wish they’d spell out their positions somewhere on their website. Am I missing something? I can guess what they’d be supporting but I shouldn’t have to.
Even one that tries to bring knives to a gun fight?

It’s almost like the media has a stake in this.
It’s not easy to let the idiocy go unanswered. But they enjoy and feel validated by negative attention.

Jon’s protege’ John Oliver said it best a couple of weeks ago on Last Week Tonight with our leadership’s response to gun violence.
We had one shoe bombing and now we are taking off our shoes in airports (I know this to be true as I do it twice a week).
We have had some 18 school shootings (or more) since Columbine and Sandy Hook, but no new legislation.
Seems our priorities are more than a little messed up here.
