Johnson was wrong at best, or lied at worst.
It’s possible that he was just toying with voters too, because that’s what Republican "less government " types like to do. They don’t want to get government too far out of our lives.
I was watching CNN when this story came out. I immediately remembered trump saying yesterday that he was eager to talk to Mueller…bet he isn’t so eager right now.

Ah yes, I remember Alice Waters. She was featured on one of the Iconoclast shows when that artsy cable channel existed out here (Ovation, I just remembered it), she was on the same show as Mikhail Baryshnikov. I managed to convince myself that they were romantically involved while watching that show but I see she and her spouse are married since 1985. A close family member has her cookbooks too.
I have begun to find Nicole Wallace less annoying only just recently. It seemed to me that through the campaign she still had to take the obligatory pro GOP position on everything. But in general, in politics and on the US Supreme Court, there is nothing quite like a Right Winger who has “the Epiphany.” My current favorite is Charles Painter.
