Lordy, I sure miss Stevens. He is a real model of a justice. Even with decisions with which I disagreed, he was a paragon of reason while expressing his views.

Kavanaugh is the judge from Fox. It’s not just that he is a political hack. He believes Fox News. Like Trump.
If K is confirmed, you can bet your ass that cases before the Supreme Court will be decided partially by the producers of Fox & Friends.

He’s a Republican. At least he was. Nominated to the court by Gerald Ford. It’s just that he is a man who is thoughtful and willing to learn. Which makes him anathema to most Republicans.

You must be using the old definitions of Republican and Democrat. I’m using the new ones, in which Democrat means anyone who’s not a card-carrying cult member. I’ve said before that reading “Democrat” as “infidel” would often make sense.

Excellent! The more, the merrier. Knowing nothing else, seeing Kavanaugh’s behavior at the hearing would be enough for me to judge him unfit for the Supreme Court. And there’s so much more.
Too bad for him and the 1200 law professors that stated he should not be on the Supreme Court.
