So very sad. Beautiful caption of them holding hands, so sweet.

Very tragic loss. My deep sympathy to family, to friends and to colleagues.

The details of what happened are worse than what’s described here. A terrible way to die.

Around 4:30 p.m. when the driver lost control while trying to pass another car and hit a guard rail and another vehicle, said Sgt. Gregory Williams of the New Jersey State Police.

The couple were ejected from the cab and pronounced dead at the scene. The taxi driver and the driver of the other car were treated for non-life threatening injuries. No criminal charges have been filed.

I’ve read the book, and have seen the movie, A Beautiful Mind and can say they have very little in common. I really don’t know how they can claim that the movie was based on the book.

Anyway, if you are interested in Nash at all, read the book and forget about the movie.

So, they were riding in the back seat of a car going 60 or 70 mph without seat belts on. If they were belted in they probably also would have also walked away. Modern cars have extremely strong passenger cells and the back seat is safer than the front.

An incredible life story.

Sad. Taxi cabs often have hard to use or half broken seat belt locks. I sometimes say: SCREW IT and not buckle up. Not next time.

A beautiful love. Far more important than a beautiful mind.

The New Jersey Turnpike. No place for bad drivers. If you’re not going 90 mph, you’re in the way.

I’m glad they were able to go together but sad they died that way.
