just change the scenery and the topic

OMFG! Mantan’ wants his old job back! ~snort!~

Trump reacts very negatively when he thinks something that’s rightfully his is threatened. He is going to commence a very emphatic, loud, angry and threat laden push back against this talk.

Plutocrat Pauly would confirm himself the dumbest politician in a generation if he accepted the Great White Hope/Savior role in this mess.

Which presents an interesting conundrum because he thinks everything is rightfully his.

Let us not forget that Boehner has a well-deserved reputation as a kingmaker. Right.

I don’t think Paul Ryan is dumb enough (or ambitious enough) to take the bait and willingly climb up on the RNC Cross to be crucified. He may be a lot of things but stupid isn’t one of them.
He has Presidential ambitions for sure, but I think he would much rather wait this one out and ride in on his white horse as the 2020 “Savior” of the fractured Republican Party, pointing to his 4 years of successful “scorched-earth” opposition to President Hillary Clinton as his “street creds”.
I think with the ascendancy of Trump you will see a LOT of the “usual suspects” go into “duck and cover” mode to ride out the disaster, giving tepid lip-service to supporting the Nominee with their eyes on the 2018 Congressional elections and 2020 for the Presidency.

What on Earth are these people thinking? You preach hate and radical change and prosperity for the working class and you deliver Jeb! and Mitt and Ryan?? That won’t fly anymore. No one is buying this bait and switch nonsense.

The curtain has been torn down, boys.

Boehner Throws Support Behind Proven Loser!"

headline should read: Boehner Throws Support Behind Proven Loser!"

Paul Ryan’s already having trouble with being in the light as Speaker, there’s no way he’d be able to handle the exposure as President. There’s a reason he was happy being the psuedo-wonk in the background.

He already has. He more or less threatened the GOP with full blown riots in Cleveland if they don’t give him the nomination, even if he doesn’t have the delegates.

Ryan already took the bait last night. He indicated that he was at least open to the notion of being the nominee in the event of a contested convention. It was just too juicy of a prize for him to realize that it’s a mirage, so he went there.

None of the above – who knew Boehner is a Monte Brewster fan?

John Boehner? Where did you get this, the GOP nostalgia file? Why not get a medium and channel Richard Nixon to see what he thinks, it’d be just as relevant.

Boehner’s had too much merlot…again.
