The argument Scarborough is making completely ignores the context and all the statements Trump has made prior to the debate, and why Wallace asked the question in the first place.
Wallace didn’t just ask that question out of the blue, he asked it because Trump has made many statements challenging the integrity of the American election system.
His answer can only be seen as a refusal to accept the results of the election in this context.
