Cruz does lecturing good. March 2013 just elected to the Senate he lectured Dianne Feinstein about assault weapons. He got into some word salad about constitutionality and she said this.

You wouldnāt know this since youāve never served your country in uniform, but the AR-15 family of Stoner rifles is designed to put a high volume of steel down range in a short amount of time. Comparing it to a fixed magazine bolt-action hunting rifle is deliberately disingenuous.
