Me too. He’s such a down to earth guy. What you see is what you get - a guy comfortable in his own skin. Obama made an excellent choice.

Third! I think it speaks volumes about Biden’s character that he can joke about the poor treatment he receives at the hands of the media. (yes, TPM included)

This will sound like a whitewash of Mister Hands, but … I think Biden is trying to make a cool moment even cooler, by showing that important people are excited about them coming aboard. I have heard no claims yet that he is goosing people or licking their ears. If that happens, I will reconsider my position.

If I die before my daughter gets married (assuming she ever gets married) I want Joe Biden to walk her down the aisle.
