Discussion: Jindal: I Won't Bow To Liberals And Big Corps. Like Indiana Or Arkansas

There can be no budget wrecking tax cuts for rich people and corporate welfare in the absence of freedom to discriminate against teh gayz. The two are obviously inextricably linked. I don’t know why the crazy liberal transnational corporations can’t understand that. It just stands to reason.

You know, I don’t think he’s a nutjob, I think he’s a sleazy opportunist who has no idea what he’s getting himself into most times.

“If we, as conservatives, are to succeed in advancing the cause of freedom and free enterprise, the business community must stand shoulder to shoulder with those fighting for religious liberty”

Except the “cause of freedom” doesn’t include vast swaths of the population. Jindahl is playing to a micro-audience. Being a big fish in a small pond creates the kind of delusion from which he suffers.

I particularly like Jindal’s stand against “bullying” by large corporations. Of course, it’s not bullying when he does their bidding on cutting their taxes, giving them tax breaks, deregulation, or anti-union provisions.

He won’t care about what his policies do to the state budget until creditors come to repossess the stick up his azz.

So Jindal is now doing his best to get the soapbox for the extreme right-winger of the week for the media. “Governor Jindal, Chuck Todd is on line 1!”

Now keep in mind that Jindal is a complete idiot, but let’s not forget that companies like IBM are basically neoliberal capitalist enterprises. Diversity is perfectly fine for them as long as they can continue to employ workers for the lowest possible salary and benefits. Recognition of diversity is not, in and of itself, any guarantee of a just and egalitarian society.

“The same people who think that profit making is vulgar believe that religiosity is folly.”

You show 'em Bobby! You stand tall against them outside agitators and so what if they take their business elsewhere because they care about their employees! Who cares if they might bring employment to your sorry ass state! Who needs jobs?! You are a 'murcan by gum and you won’t be told what to do by nobody!

Oh, so true. Perhaps I’ll walk barefoot through a chicken yard before I command Pyusshh to lick my toes. You know, if I were holding out a large political donation he’d do it.

That said, I don’t want the man anywhere near me … a two-by-four might accidently crack him across his smarmy little face.

Oh, Oh Bobby is being soooooooooooooooooooo tough… would be nice however if he would just do what is right for the people of LA rather than the religo nasties.

So basically he’s not going to listen to anyone other than himself and tea partiers?

That “big corporation” pressure in Indiana was about keeping jobs and money in the state.

What does it say about this disgusting little man that he prioritizes his obsession with how other people have sex over his constituents’ economic well-being?
