Because âChristian freedomâ means the right to force everyone else to live according to their beliefs, âcause otherwise othersâ (according to them) immoral lifestyle will offend them, thus violating their religious right not to have anything exist contrary to their religion.
So their Christian rights mean that no one else has any rights â and if anyone else claims rights, thatâs an attack on Christian rights 'cause it hurts their feelings. But itâs okay, because theirs is the only true faith, so only their rights count.

I think many evangelical types might see it as their right to proselytize and convert the infidels and the those who do not believe. America is the greatest nation on earth. But the bible says to spread the gospel:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the

which co-opts secular constitutional democracy. If you delve beneath the surface of an evangelical, you will likely find an inquisitor who owns a pocket constitution for cover.

Piyush, this is whatâs really happening: Hollywood and corporate America are returning fire! No one is assaulting Christianity with laws limiting the rights of Christians. When Christians use their religion to justify limiting the rights of others, then those others step up to fight back for the rights that Christians want to remove from them. So, since when is fighting back in self defense an assault?
I guess I must have some sympathy for Piyush, though. The educational system in Louisiana is just a step up from the educational system in Yemen. And thatâs just a step above the system in Kansas. The rest of us should have pity and sympathy for the uneducated, ignorant leaders who spout cow dung from their mouths with every breath.
