Sorry Jennifer, you’re falling into the same trap as many others. You absolutely have freedom of speech - no one is stopping you from saying or performing whatever you want. What you’ve found out is that you don’t have freedom from the reactions of other people to your speech.

I am happy that she gave the matter further thought, listened to her fans, and realized the negative symbolism of her appearance. She is wrong about lack of freedom of speech. But I am sorry that someone, anyone, threatened her. I hate Trump and fear what he may do to our country and the world as much as anyone, but threats and suicide suggestions against an artist, or anyone, never help.
