The CA GOP went on a racist nativist rampage in 1994 (historically one of the State’s specialities), and it cost them the Hispanic and Asian vote in this state for two decades and counting.
The same is playing out nationally right now, and practically all the Dems need do is racist Republicans be themselves and run this Congress. The national Asian and Hispanic vote will go overwhelmingly Democratic for at least the next decade or two.
