Jeb!, When you’re in the party which wants to return children to active war zones to be shot to death by drug gangs, you can’t really talk about mercy. Heck, you can’t even talk about respecting life when you want to make illegal a procedure which is often needed to save a life, and don’t want to provide birth control, prenatal care, or food stamps to the living.

You aren’t about mercy. You’re about death. All you believe in is ‘life’ for the unborn and death for the living.

Nope. No surprise that the HRC Church can forgive women for making responsible decisions. Big outrage is brewing in the party that kills babies with Tomahawk missiles and cluster bombs, along with their innocent families. There is no humanity issue that JEBya can discuss without bringing up his family’s profitable exploitation of vast suffering.

I’m not surprised either. In all my years of Catholic education & being Catholic for half my life I never heard that any sin could not be absolved in confession if one is repentant. This statement by the pope is not about absolution per se, it is to remind priests that mercy is their first calling. It is, of course, only relevant if you are Catholic & believe you have committed a sin.
