It’s uplifting to see the death spiral of the Jeb Bush candidacy continue to accelerate. The guy just can’t get anything right. He continues to trot out the tired crap that the 26-percenters like to swallow (that hard core of low-information voters, the ones who still think that Cheney was right all along, for example), but that alienates everyone else.

When someone is born into excessive privilege, it’s apparently impossible to understand those who weren’t. I’m sure Jeb and Mitt are capable of having completely appalling conversations about the poors that would make perfect sense to them.

Yeah, crafting a message to black voters based on conservative sterotypes of black people is a cracker jack of an idea that has worked so well for the GOP in the past. Jesus, maybe W. really is the smarter brother.

P.S.: The comment about W. being the smarter brother is probably unfair to Jeb!. He does have to play to the base to win the nomination.

Sadly, the face of America’s national identity that the Republicans show to the world is one of wars of aggression, institutionalized racism and homophobia, xenophobia, misogyny, intolerance for any religion other than evangelical Christianity, and just plain mean-spiritedness. And if the Republicans veer away from that, why then they just won’t be Republicans any more. I think this is what the world is waiting for.

He’s basically lost the Hispanic/Latino vote.
He’s never had the Black vote and this solidifies that.
Can’t imagine he has the youth vote (even if he DOES try to get Rubio as his veep).
