Discussion for article #243998
This is a stupid comment. He would LOVE to be the frontrunner. I donāt think he ever really was.
Jeb ! Bush prefers people see him with low expectations in mind. Thatās where he finds his best comfort zone. Got it. Say no more.
What. A. Fucking. Idiot.
I wonder how long after forcing those words out of his mouth it was before he was able to get some alone time to cry the shame out.
Liar. Complete and total liar.
Heās a Bush, there is no shame. Ever.
PsstāJebāyou say, āThis isnāt where we expected to be at this point, Iāll be honest, but itās going to be a long campaign. We think we have the best policies and the best temperament, frankly, to offer. Experience and seriousness tend to win out in the end, and I can tell you one thing: Weāre going to keep fighting for the American people to give them a better future. ā¦ā AND SO FORTH YOU FUCKING TOOL
Wait, he was once the frontrunner?
āWell Iāve always thought that there was going to be a high expectation for me. And I totally get it,ā Bush continued. āBecause I have a brother that was president and a father that was president. And that higher expectation was important to realize. And so being the front runner made me feel like the other guys just dancing right through this. I have to go earn it. I have higher expectations on me than people have on me.ā
Jeb is clearly struggling with the burden of belonging to one of this countryās most prominent political families. And judging from this quote, that family is the Palins.
I laughed out loud. Jeb! is certainly the front runner at putting a good face on in the midst of his disastrous candidacy.
āI feel much better back here.ā ā Jeb!?
Just behind āNone of the Aboveā, but slightly leading āMargin of Errorā.
Then youāll feel even better at 1%, which is where youāre headed.
Seriously, I think this just confirms Jeb really does not want to be President. He said, not too long ago, there are a lot of cool things he could otherwise be doing. Now this comment? I presume he knows you canāt be elected President from 3%.
He was regarded as the frontrunner by Very Serious People long before anyone announced, and by many of them until surprisingly recently who considered him the leading ārealā candidate on the assumption that Trump would eventually implode. Mostly on the basis of all the superPAC money he had.
But he started polling at 15% in July and has steadily declined since then to third-tier status, so no, heās never actually been the frontrunner. And by now even the VSPs have realized that thereās no real way he could come back, given that heās burned through most of his campaign money and over half of the superPAC money with nothing but negative results to show.
And the day he polls below 2.5% (or whatever the cut-off is) and is confined to the kiddies table in the next GOP debate, is the day the RNC in coordination with cable companies, decide to eliminate the kiddies table altogetherā¦just to save face.
Get used to it.
The view is not gonnaā change unless several people suddenly croak.

Sucks to be born a Bush when youād really rather be an anonymous 1 percent sitting on boards of whatever. But no, you have to go and run for President.
This flapjack never wanted to do this. He probably thought, what the hell - I have all of my brotherās donors and contacts. Maybe it wonāt be so difficult. Just about the only positive to come out of the giant shitshow that is the GOP nominating process is watching this guy commit seppuku on a daily basis.
Man. This guy has said some stupid and lame things. Heās also said a lot of things that make one suspect he really doesnāt want to be president. I think this tops them all on both counts.
The Donald replied ==
It certainly has that ākicked in the headā and ādidnāt see that comingā ring to it.
Jeb never was the front runner. Never. So I guess he doesnāt have to worry about winning either.
