Discussion: Jeb Calls Trump’s Proposed Muslim Ban ‘Unhinged’

Discussion for article #244724

I can see why people are angry and scared because this President has
created a condition where our national security has weakened
dramatically, I totally get that,” Bush said.

Jeb, as Obama said “Ask Osama bin Laden” if our national security is weakened.

I hate to say it, but Jeb has to be the stupidest SOB in the race. How the hell does this line of argument help him with his base?? They’re not rational, thinking people. And if he doesn’t know that by now; well, he’s headed for the kiddie stage, then out the door.

They won’t demote JEB to the junior debate. Enough people will drop out after Iowa, that they will just have everybody still in, regardless of poll standings, on the stage.

To me, however, the dumbest Bushism of the night was when he basically said the country is worse off today than it was when Obama took office. You remember 2009, right? When the national and global economy were cratering thanks to the god awful job his brother did asleep at the wheel?

And for JEB, of all people, to invoke that memory…its hard to believe that he was elected governor of Florida twice. He comes across as such a complete politic novice.

But make no mistake about it…JEB would declare war on Iran within months of getting in office. He is hungering to run to do the House of Saud’s bidding.

Cruz, Trump, Rubio…and in that order! Cruz again the smartest guy in the room!!

Watched a few minutes of Bernie’s town hall tonight. Best line was when he pointed out that when Bush left office, this country was losing something like 800,000 jobs a month, the financial system was in collapse, the economy was in freefall, millions of people were being evicted from their homes, and Bush had run up the largest budget deficit in the nation’s history, “but, you know, other than that, we were in pretty good shape.” That got a good laugh.
