Discussion: Jeb Bush Thinks It Would Be 'Powerful' Statement If Nobody Voted This Year

Unfortunately, Jeb!, there is no way of distinguishing between someone who is trying to send a message by not voting, and someone who can’t be bothered.

I am sure he is expressing the feelings of a lot of establishment Republicans. They built this mess. Let them live with it.

This is so Jeb. He’s too much of a coward to come out for Hillary, like his dad did, so he opts for this gem instead of man-ing up and endorsing Hillary. It’s pathetic and mind-numbing at the same time, how republicans, like JEB! and Paul Ryan, will prefer to watch the country burn rather than go against their cult-like GOP.

whatever

you should know. It was powerful when nobody voted for you in the primaries

He has told friends he will vote for Gary Johnson.

Johnson, the smiley face on the Koch Brothers’ agenda:http://www.rawstory.com/2016/09/meet-gary-johnsons-koch-network-money-men/

Interesting outreach to the Electoral College.

What you are suggesting would only work if we could vote None of the Above and the seat stayed vacant. In that case, if the protest spread to enough corners of the country Congress would be unable to achieve a quorum, budgets wouldn’t be passed, salaries wouldn’t be paid and government would close its doors. Which would be about as intelligent, on a societal level, as Suicide by Cop on an individual level. Most likely we would end up with militarized corporations, regional militias and gang cartels, and the rest of the world would laugh at us. Or we could elect Hillary Clinton.

“And then JEB’s three write-ins would make him Preznit!”

Yes it is, on the other hand, I would very much like to see a line on each ballot for each position from the lowest dog catcher to presidential elections that read “None Of The Above”. While I HRC very much I would bet that line would win this November. I believe this line and a few wins, even at the dog catcher level, would put parties on notice to offer viable candidates rather than the many times very mediocre slop we so often see.

You were right: he is the smart one. How frightening is that?

Actually, he’s probably right in the short run (absent a nukular [sic] war). In the longer run, climate change is going to put his property in Florida under water.

Has anyone checked to see if there is mold growing on JEB!? He’s way past his use-by date.

Jeb! Go ahead and encourage your republiCON voters not to vote in this election…

He’s been talking his own advice.

"I would say take a chill pill, let the democracy work,

Who knew W was the smart one?

Well no possible effect is the truth, he and his ilk can just move overseas to one of their many many homes without feeling any inconvenience, other than the private jet flight.

Useless to the end. What a shameful, sullen lout.

JEB!?, we have a candidate who is eminently qualified to be President, so there is NO reason NOT to vote.
And the qualified one isn’t Donald Trump - and it sure as hell isn’t YOU either, motherfucker.
“Please clap. Or if that doesn’t get me any media attention, please GIVE me the clap!”

Even when we have a “good” President, the US is involved in many wars, and has to deal with a constant nuclear threat. A Trump Presidency could destabilize the planet literally before he takes office. It’s one thing to make a clown the leader of Italy, or the Philippines, but the US? All bets are off.

Holy shit he’s more of a moron than Dubya! Was their dad this much on an idiot? I don’t remember him as such. He pointed out that Reagan was an idiot when he ran against him, but kind of cowered when Reagan won. Man the more you see or hear from Jeb and Dubya the worse they seem.
