Bygones?

The former governor did offer praise for his brother’s handling of the wars in the Middle East. He said former President George W. Bush’s late surge of forces was “hugely successful.”

That’s like praising someone for calling 911 after starting the fire that burned down the house.

"“I won’t talk about the past,” Bush said on Friday 2/14/15. I guess it didn’t go over too well. So … today he talks about the past, even criticizes his brother indirectly (or so it will be declared in his defense) and now, after talking about the past he can with conviction, state he will no longer talk about the past … because he just did. Not a bad move - if intentional - or just more Bush genes scrambling our neural pathways.

I’m pretty sure Rand Paul is gonna run and he’s gonna pull a Santorum on Jeb.

Saddam had to be killed because he knew shit about the Bush family that had to be squashed. The weapons he had would have destroyed the Bushes and the Bushes alone.

Ah, finally we get the perspective of a real historian. Next time we should be sure to get ALL the cockroaches by nuking the entire Middle East and paving it over. We can alert the Israelis so they have time to put on sunglasses.

We can laugh all we want, but you know he’s going to garner “seriousness” points from the MSM.

Run Jeb run, I can’t get enough of the third Bush and this one the smart one too.

And while I would miss this clown in the Republican Nomination Clown Car he should listen to his mother about Bush fatigue.

Now that was a prime time remark.

The problem is that they were mistakes borne out of deceit.

Until Jeb admits that, he isn’t a serous person.

Reminds me of the “2000 year old man at the Cannes Film Festival”, an album in the '70s by Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks. On one cut, Brooks was playing the famous German director, Adolph Hartler. Reiner kept noting that Hartler bore a strong resemblance to Hitler, which Hartler kept denying. That led to an exchange in which Hartler insisted that “mistakes were made during the war . . . losing the war, that was a big mistake”.

Right, Jeb?

“There were mistakes made in Iraq, for sure.” “But I am my own man — and my views are shaped by my own thinking and own experiences.” Which is why he has 21 former Bush advisors on his team, including drumbeater and architect of the Iraq war, former deputy defense secretary Paul Wolfowitz.

Right. Gotcha. And pigs can fly.

That’s if you consider Abu Grehb, the rise of ISIS, and Iraq’s refusal to negotiate a Status of Forces treaty that included immunity for US forces a huge success.

It was all he had.
