Discussion for article #233869
Coming from a fool who released e-mails containing people’s Social Security numbers…
yes, jeb, you are so transparent so lets see all your emails as governor and emails regarding your illicit business dealings. spare me your moralizing
On the one hand, Jeb’s got a point. WTF is Clinton doing using personal e-mail as Secretary of State? The encryption is lousy, and someone could just stumble along her account in a massive hack. It’s not only poor transparency, but really really dangerous.
That said, why are there Social Security numbers in Jeb’s e-mails? I’ve been an HR manager and never sent a SS# over a corporate account, much less over a personal account. And why would a Governor have anyone’s SS# in the first place? Doesn’t he have people for that?
Sounds to me like they’re both idiots about this.
I think there’s a bit of a difference between the two. Are you doing … because Hillary … already?
Hillary Clinton. Still making unforced errors.
I’ll show you mine, if you’ll show me yours???
Has he castigated his brothers’s administration for doing the same thing to avoid the FOI Act? Didn’t think so.
Team Jeb is all over this - as they should be. Can’t wait for HRC response. Maybe she should hire Sen Warren to help her out. Did you see the way she dropped a bomb on Walker the other day. BOOM!
Well Jeb, we will contemplate taking you seriously, when you come clean and are 100% transparent about your involvement in the savings and loan scandal, and the Iran Contra scandal. Did you think we forgot your brother’s little problem with his administration using personal emails in the scandal over firing federal prosecutors?
It’s strange behavior for someone at the top.
Not really. Not strange for Hillary. We’re talking about a member of the Wal-Mart Board of Directors.
It just doesn’t get sleazier than that.
Remember that his evil brother W had Karl Rove ( Bush’s Brain) issued everybody Blackberrys for all the formal communications so that they would be secret and unsubpoena-able if found out. Apparently this is now standard practice in Washington.
Short-sighted (no one on her staff thought this would be an issue, ever?) and easily avoidable.
Arrogant, as well. I think she’s better than this, but events like this make it hard to believe at times.
A good argument can be made that a Sec State should not use email for work at all. It’s too inherently insecure.
In any case using a personal account to conduct official business is inappropriate and stupid.
Jeb engineered the Florida votes that put the dumber brother in office which led to the Iraq war and crashed the economy. So the fewer swipes Jebbie takes the better. His albatross is his brother. Clinton’s email problem will be discussed, examined, explained, and long forgotten by mid-2016 during the Democratic nominating process.
People at the top received her personal account email. Did no one at the top think it at the very least odd and question it? Why did no one question Powell’s occasional use of personal account as well as Albright’s?
What communication did he have with his Secretary of State concerning the stealing of the 2000 election in Florida?
You apparently don’t know what sleaze is.
