Discussion for article #237240
This is like having a prize winning horse stumble and break its leg walking up to the starting gate…
What a pathetic individual. Unprepared and unfit for office!
Side note - he looks like Robert Culp in the picture.
Much like being the #2 in Al-Qa’eda. No job security.
So fucking what? Jeb is not going to be elected President.
The sign of a strong campaign.
Of course, if this was happening in the Hillary campaign, the “Hillary in disarray” stories would be spewing forth from the political press corp.
Yeah, but you still feel kind of like cringing when you see stories like this.
The true sign of a firm, decisive leader!
Jeb Bush to star as Robert Culp in: The Greatest American Hero
Eyeglasses for Perry, new campaign manager for Bush. Trappings that will make neither any smarter.
I’d hate to see Karl Rove breakdown on Faux News on election night yet again. He needs to think about what’s left of his already discredited reputation. Nothing good will ever come again from associating with a Bush. The rest of the nation understands this. Why can’t GOP operatives?
One has become a whipping boy for the other GOP presidential candidates. The other just can’t seem to be whipped into shape no matter who is grooming him. Actually, some might see Jeb and Perry as being interchangeable?
Nicolle Wallace? She has crazy diva experience…
Bush is a bushwhacker when it comes to decision making and therefore ill-equipped to be President of the U.S. But then again, we already knew that…
So true. But Cruz might be elected Prime Minister of Canada someday? Has that Cuban Canadian torn up those dual citizenship papers yet? Or has he stashed them in his Grand Caymans tax shelter for safe keeping?
I think he looks more like Brit Hume. They will probably put cowboy boots on Hume and push him out on the stage at the first GOP presidential primary debates and no one will know the difference? Neither one of them are all that bright or articulate.
Danny Diaz played some awesome guitar on those early Steely Dan albums! Sounds like a good choice.
It’s really not. It’s a reflection of changing strategies brought on in no small part to the focus on national polling vs. Iowa polling brought on by the “top 10 debate” decision. Kochel was there because of his ties in Iowa; my guess is he would be jettisoned to another position sooner than later in the campaign after Iowa anyway. Diaz has ties to…among others…Susana Martinez, which Bush, along with nearly everyone else, would be giving strong consideration for a Veep slot. And Diaz is probably the national campaign guy anyway.
So, now that Iowa doesn’t matter, they are merely shifting to the national campaign strategy sooner than later.
Paying off another political guy: In 2004, Diaz served as southwest regional press secretary for Bush-Cheney ’04 and was a member of the campaign’s National Hispanic Working Group.
If Jeb ever starts releasing information, we can then watch another GOP get rich quick team cash in.
