Discussion for article #232890
Where does he stand? Well, of course, he stands on the throat of anyone who opposes him. Ask Michael Schiavo.
Excellent point. This is a governor who doesn’t think government should be involved in health care. But in the Schiavo case he injected government right into it. Creating a giant mess for all involved.
Bush will always be a 4-letter word.
There will soon be a jebbushforpresident.com website put up by a gay couple in Oregon, right now it’s a Work In Progress. They’ll tell us what he won’t.
He’ll stand astride the two right wings of the GOTP like the Colossus of Rhodes … with one foot on the neck of the establishment, and the other on the one Tea Party darling with a valid credit card … until someone in the chasm below him delivers a well-timed bicycle kick nut shot
"The most Bush and Bolick get into Obamacare is when they argue how it’s inflamed “anti-immigration sentiment.”
What’s more important than caring for the sick and the sick-to-be? Why, not offending xenophobes - of course! Priorities, people.
When ti comes down to the very very core of it all, he stands where the rest of the GOP/Teatrolls stand: in a putrid, steaming puddle of his own excrement and jealousy.
Because let’s face it, when you peel back all the layers, the GOP/Teatrolls would be dancing a jig right now if they could take credit for it and thereby scoop up all the voters that (theoretically) would earn them. They can’t and they’re terrified that, just like Bill Kristol said in his 1993 memo, the Dems just earned themselves a whole new generation of voters.
Bush seems a lot like brother George, not very curious about many things, especially as it would benefit hard-working Americans. He seems to be running for President like so many others, as some kind of vanity project. I have no idea why he wants to be President or why he thinks he’d be good at it. I guess being a Bush means you don’t have to work or think very hard about what makes you a desirable candidate. Name recognition apparently seems all that’s important, and frankly, it’s a loser of a name in my book, but what the hey…
Another Bush slob.
No need to insult 4 letter words.
He’s nothing special, just another one of the, small/not really big, government stooges
that can’t see past our wallets.
This guy plays the role of smart bush but only because his dumb ass brother managed to become President before him and practically ruin the world before he could. If Jeb would’ve been first he’d be in the dog house and Georgie Porgie would be left with no presidency.
The bush’s appeal to a constituency of cads and cronies, greater America despises them.
This is great reporting on Bush’s history with respect to health policy issues, but I think it’s wrong a major point–Bush’s lack of track record on Obamacare is a political strength not a weakness. I’m sure it’s intentional on his part. By 2016 it might not look so good to have a record of negative comments about Obamacare for a Republican in the general election.
he stands on whatever platform that will get him the most votes and wether he can a make a buck from it…
if jebby runs I wonder if dickless cheney has a douchbag brother that can be his VP
Gawd forbid, but he does have that spawn of a daughter…so that clearly is along the same lines.
Jebbie has no choice, he was sucked into the vortex when he sewed rmoney’s pants legs shut.
He’s a Republican. So he knows it’s good, but he’ll say the complete opposite. Pretty standard M.O.
“Where Does Jeb Bush Really Stand On Obamacare?”
Wherever the most votes are.
