So is it likewise arrogant to accept plate tectonics? It’s supremely arrogant to accept the Bernoulli principle. I for one will NEVER fly in an aircraft again!. And it must be truly arrogant to accept quantum physics. After all old A.E. himself was a bit of a denier, eh? Guess all those tunneling electron microscopes, MRI machines, etc. should be tossed in the dumpster. Funny, isn’t it, that these asshole wing nuts are are always shouting “arrogance” only about accepted scientific theories and “truths” that they don’t happen to like because for some reason or other, it “disturbs their harmony” : human caused climate disruption, evolution, big-bang, cosmology, the environmental damage caused by pesticides, oil, and other petrochemicals.

How about a little illumination, scarecrow?

I wish this were enough to sink his candidacy.
As a scientist (before I retired) it IS the consensus of the science community that our planet’s climate is changing and that it is in great part human caused. Here’s what the national Academy of Science says:

Really and truly…Mother Earth does not care what Jeb Bob Bush or the Pope or the scientists or anyone on the Republican Clown Car or Hillary or you and me says about Climate Change. The planet is going to get hotter and hotter and the winters are going to be a bitch and our forests are going to burn down and our farm lands wither and die and our oceans are going to turn acidic with death to fish life and water will become scarce except where it will rise and flood our coastal communities and cities. Mother Nature does not care about what our opinions are. Only the next generation cares.
