This is so sad. And embarrassing, for Jeb! and the GOP elite: the chosen is reduced to saying “No, I’m the one Trump is really after! Really!”
I’d feel a tiny twinge of pity except for the fact that W did irreparable harm, never paid a price, and it’s astonishing that Jeb! thinks he can waltz into the WH, JUST BECAUSE.
I’m feeling more than a bit of fear that the media certainly seems to treat Trump differently than other candidates, at least those on the Dem side of the aisle: imagine had any Dem said a peep about the physical appearance of another candidate. DRUDGE and Politico would have the RED ALERT sirens blazing, 24/7.
Gonna be an interesting 14 months.

Let me get this straight. Bush Bush is Trump’s favorite rent boy (and note that Bush Bush calls Trump “the Donald,” a term of respect, like a good sub should), and he’s bragging. I realize that part of being in pole position is that everyone guns for you, but Bush Bush isn’t laying a finger on Trump here. Even Bobby Fucking Jindal is hitting back. Maybe not the smartest strategy since you can’t out Trump Trump, but Bush Bush is letting his foe run slipshod all over him without fighting back at all.
How bad does this look? Ask Bush Bush’s big brother, who ran slipshod over John Kerry for three weeks in August 2004, and Kerry didn’t do a goddamn thing.
Worse. Fred Thompson was the guy on Law and Order SVU. (Sure, he was an elected official prior to that, but…that’s all he’ll be known for).
Jeb! has “name recognition”, the supposed vast Bush e-mail list, and he’s reduced to saying this?
Kind of starting to think that the W presidency was, seriously, the biggest political farce forced on the American people, and that Jeb was a true believer. He doesn’t sound like the “smarter brother”. I think W has been inadvertently giving the finger to everyone for years. Jeb! included. They just didn’t get it.
