No, that’s the MO of people from families like Bush and Trump that were born into money and never really had to work a day in their lives.
I look at Trump supporters with disdain: gullible cowards misdirecting their anger, getting played by a psychopathic bullshitter.
Trump supporters are “severe” Republicans. They are the same people that supported McCain and Romney. They would support anyone who is a Republican. There’s no way they would vote for a Democrat, especially Hillary Clinton.
And there are probably some supporters who haven’t paid much attention to the primaries and not big Clinton fans, plus those that support Sanders and would tell a pollster they support Trump rather than saying they support Clinton if those are their only choices. Assuming Sanders supporters come around, that alone could be a 5+% swing in the polls. And once the people who haven’t pad much attention start learning about Trump’s baggage, there will be another swing. I doubt there are many people who haven’t heard of Hillary, so all of her baggage is already baked into the polls. Trump probably has a lot more downside than upside, while Clinton is just the opposite.
Is that sort of ringing endorsement that’ll get trump the White House.
