Discussion for article #232870
Hey Jeb, you wonder why people are living from paycheck to paycheck, because when your brother totally ruined our economy with his fake wars and all of his bank buddies screwing everyone over, people lost their jobs, when they found new ones they were paid less for the the job was paying before. The “job creators” thought why not screw everyone over and paid minimum wage for a job that was paying $15.00 an hour before the crash, that is why there is still inequality.
I’ll bet he didn’t use the term "trickle down economics " and I bet he’s big on unchecked free trade. 2 things that have destroyed our economy. Wait till he gets around to explaining his stance on foreign affairs.
Bush outlined a four-point solution to fixing economic inequality:
a strong family, (dog whistle to Blacks; has nothing to do with reality)
a growing economy that isn’t hindered by regulations and laws, (like OSHA, EPA, etc. How’s that working out for TX)
and better educational opportunities for young Americans. (how do they afford it? Oh, that’s right - have a strong family)
“Accountability for teachers and school administrators, assessment of
student learning, high standards, and choices," Bush said. “These key
elements of school reform work and we have the results to prove it.”
(See my above comment re: AFFORDABILITY)
Oh, please, please, please run on the economy and income disparity. Please!
Romney tried to run on the economy, but he will ran into the same problem that Bush will: he doesn’t believe there’s anything wrong with the economy. He just wants policies that help rich people. So, please, run on something you don’t believe in.
Everyone seems to be running against Elizabeth Warren.
Gotta love a 4 point plan with only 3 points. About par for the repug course. I read the speech and there were zero solutions in it that I saw.
Good point.
Now that Jebbie has sewed Romney’s pant legs shut and is getting back into politics he simply needs to overcome his own concupiscence.
His version of the Perry Plan. LOL!
“If a law or a rule doesn’t contribute to growth, why do it? If a law subtracts from growth, why are we discussing it?"
If there was ever a question about this Bush’s seriousness, this should suffice as a definitive answer.
Hahaha that’s a good one, I need to save that.
I get it now: keeping Terry Schiavo on life support was all about economic growth!
